Providing Bright Future for
Early-Stage Companies.

The Midlothian Angel Network links angel investors in Midlothian & Ellis county with startups and high growth companies in TX and elsewhere.

The Midlothian based Angel Network provides a bright future for early-stage companies. We can provide the investment funds you need to grow your company and achieve all the success your hard work deserves.

Midlothian Angel Network (Midlo Angels) exists to open doors for early-stage companies by connecting promising founders with the capital, networks, and strategic support they need to scale and turn hard work into lasting success.

Based in Dallas, Texas, with a growing presence in Lagos and across the African market, Midlo Angels operates as an agile, cross-border investment network connecting diaspora investors with high-potential ventures across technology, real estate, sustainability, and other high-growth sectors. The network is recognized among the fastest-growing angel networks in North America and ranked among the top seven angel networks in Africa.

Across Midlo Angels and Midlo Credit, the broader network oversees $4.564 million in combined assets under administration—$2.800 million through Midlo Angels (61%) and $1.764 million through Midlo Credit (39%). To date, the network has deployed $1.30 million into private-market opportunities, including high-profile investments involving Anthropic and Dangote Refinery.

Midlo Angels’ community reach has grown to more than 9,873 people across five platforms. Despite increasing competition for access to premier private-market opportunities, the network has continued to execute high-profile syndications, secure strategic allocations, strengthen its investment infrastructure, and expand its member base.

Its growing portfolio includes leading companies and ventures such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, Dangote Refinery, CDCare, Prembly, Regxta, Natilus, Mainstack, Vesti, and Fit, among others.

Beyond investing, Midlo Angels continues to build institutional partnerships and global connectivity. The organization partners with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and maintains active memberships in the Stanford Alumni Fund, Harvard Business School Alumni Angels Association (HBSAA), and Angel Capital Association (ACA).

At its core, Midlo Angels is built around a simple conviction: access to capital should not be limited by geography, background, or proximity to traditional financial centers.

Its mission is to democratize access to venture capital by empowering diaspora investors to participate meaningfully in wealth creation, startup development, and nation-building. Through strategic funding, mentorship, community, and leadership programs, Midlo Angels is building a bridge between global capital and the entrepreneurs shaping the future.

Core Values

At MAN, we believe we cannot thrive without the recognition and partnership of our strengths. To us, this means listening and evolving together, helping and supporting each other for the sake
of a collective goal and reciprocity.

An internal, contagious way of life. Some label it ‘Quality.’ Others refer to it as ‘Performance.’ However, the focus is almost always the same: a commitment to being the best and/or delivering exceptional services.

We are about respecting people, listening to their ideas, and using these insights to optimize value by making informed decisions on how to allocate the resources at our disposal.
