Wale Salami

Wale Salami is a Nigerian-American angel investor, venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and U.S. Army veteran with over a decade of experience spanning the military, nonprofit, and private sectors.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Midlothian Angel Network (Midlo Angels) — one of North America’s fastest-growing angel networks — managing over $1.5 million in assets under management (AUM) and a portfolio of 35 companies collectively valued at more than $150 billion.

A graduate of the Stanford Ignite Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wale brings deep expertise in leadership, innovation, and business strategy. He also represents the United States as a Senator at the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF), a partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion.

Currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Texas at Dallas, his research focuses on corporate governance and executive incentives.

He resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Omotolani, an attorney licensed in both Nigeria and Texas, and their two daughters.
